The Rumford Historical Society will hold its annual fund-raising yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2. Rain date is Saturday, June 9. at the Lufkin School Museum on Rt. 2 in Rumford Center.

The society will have the customary variety of yard sale items for sale. In addition, perennial and annual plants will be offered, as well as a food table.

Members donating items (no clothing) should price them and contact David Gawtry at 369-9039 for time and place to deliver donations. Mary Greaney at 364-7495 will appreciate a call for food donations. To donate pots for the plant sale or to share plant cuttings, contact Nghia Ha at 369-9039. Other questions can be answered by David Kimball at 364-7097.

The Lufkin School Museum will open for the summer Saturdays, and visitors to the yard sale are urged to stop in and see the historical artifacts owned by the Rumford Historical Society.
