That’s right; they are all romantic holidays where many suitors pop the question to the love of their lives. 49 Franklin Reception Hall has timed their Wedding and Event Planner Show just in time so that brides and grooms-to-be, can plan their special day. This show is for anyone planning an event, not just weddings. There are many events that wedding related businesses serve, weddings are just the tip of the iceberg. Anyone planning a special event such as anniversaries, birthdays, prom, and other special days will want to attend, so they won’t miss out on what is available to them here in Western Maine's River Valley.

This show is no charge to the public, it's a community service that will make planning a wedding or event easy with most everything you need in one convenient location. You can talk with vendors, learn the new up and coming trends, and get ideas for your special day. You can plan your whole day right there on the spot, or take information and contacts to decide at a later time. There will be samples, door prizes, and you get a drink chip, at the door. The Rescue M.E. community was started in response to the great number of dogs in Maine that are currently in need of re-homing and assistance. This page was created to provide assistance for Maine families trying to find safe and loving homes for their dogs. It is also a resource for dogs that may be sitting too long in local Maine shelters or rescue groups who need a little extra visibility. Due to the declining economy in Maine - many families are being forced to give up their beloved pets faced with foreclosure, lack of funds, or moves to non-pet friendly housing. Some pets are being abandoned in homes that nobody resides in or being let loose to fend for themselves. For the same reasons - shelters are overcrowded, adoptions are down, rescue groups are receiving more requests for help than they can handle. Many adult and senior dogs that have been loving family members are languishing in shelters bypassed for puppies. No out-of-state rescues/dogs or breeders of any kind are allowed to post on this page. This is strictly an education and outreach effort focused on finding good homes for local dogs in need. Your contribution will enhance, and supplement the needs of a local, live theater venue, AND provide quality live advertisement for your business. 100% of all money donated will go towards improving lighting, curtains, sound, costumes, and props. The Mystic Theater will host local performing artists as well as more well known and even national acts such as Mary Dimino's highly acclaimed award winning one woman show "Scared Skinny" February 25th. Our Next Pubic Event - with Local Performers Friday Night Live is modeled after the popular late night sketch comedy Saturday Night Live.We are planning a different guest host, and a different musical guest each series. We will have local, and national news, weather, and commentaries. We are also planning commercial parodies as well as real commercials.
